Chichester Central School will foster a learning community in which academic excellence is promoted, respect for self and others shared, and childhood memories created that lead to a happy, successful adulthood.
About our school
Chichester Central School is a small K-8 rural school east of Concord, New Hampshire. We have approximately 200 students and pride ourselves on small class sizes and being a close knit community. Our talented innovative staff are committed to ensuring every student has every opportunity and necessary support to grow to their potential. We are committed to fostering the social-emotional, developmental, intellectual, and physical needs of every child. We strive to work with the broader community to ensure that students develop lifelong skills enabling them to be contributing and productive members of society.
Mrs.Wilson became principal at CCS in 2019 and is ecstatic to be at Chichester Central School! Before coming to Chichester, Mrs.Wilson was a Principal for three and a half years at Henry Wilson Memorial School in Farmington, NH. She spent the first 9 years of her career at Northwood School teaching 4th and 2nd grades. Mrs.Wilson graduated from Plymouth State University with her Bachelor’s in Childhood Studies in 2005, and again in 2013 with her Master’s of Education. She lives in Northwood with her 4 horses (Pooh, Ivie, Cruise, and Sassy) and her dog Timber. In her spare time, she enjoys her family, friends, the outdoors, laughing, cooking, and riding her horses. Mrs. Wilson is excited for what the school year has to offer to Chichester, and can’t wait to welcome our staff and students back into our building!
Chichester Central School’s Philosophy
The individual is the most important part of the education process. The school is a means of helping the individual to become a contributing member of society. In reaching this goal, the school will strive to make each student a mature individual who has developed a respect for his/herself, and for other persons and property.
The Chichester Central has the responsibility of developing in each child learning skills that the child will need. In attempting to reach that goal, each child shall be afforded opportunities to develop his/her potential to the maximum.
